which actor would be a good villain choice?

I would go for jack farthing who plays george warleggan in the bbc series 'poldark' the guy is great at playing bad, a natural.

    It depends on what they're going for. If they want someone young and athletic, than any numbers of interchangeable actors could fit the part. If they're going from someone more Flemingesque -- a kind of a middle-aged grotesque who embodies physically so many of the horrible traits he or she has intellectually -- then the list narrows.

    I'd like to see Christoph Waltz return as Blofeld. He really had too little to do in Spectre.

    But I think Mark Williams, of Father Brown and Harry Potter, could easily play a one-off Bond villain in the tradition of Fleming. He's got beady, judgmental eyes, a doughy, Germanic-looking face, and a generally unlikable air. He'd be an old-school megalomaniac for Bond to fight. The trick for him would be to find some sort of sense of charm so that he didn't come across as two-dimensional.

    Anton Lesser, who is wonderful on Endeavour, is so versatile, I'd think he could come up with an interesting villain, so long as he didn't try too hard to imitate Jonathan Pryce.
