Is there a way to block/ignore a user?

On some message boards, people have the ability to ignore a user. Is that possible here?

Could you not send them a pm simply saying you would prefer not to interact with them? A couple of members here have such a pact.
It was either that.....or the priesthood

Nah, I'll just ignore in general, as I already unfortunately do.

I simply try and ignore any members I've had a run in with ( That would be most of the membership ) and
I'm certain many ignore my posts too. It's easy to get caught up in the moment and in a flash of anger or
Frustration post something ....... which many may consider crosses the line. Then again we're all human
With a passion for Bond , the MODS do keep an eye on things and do give advice to take "heated discussions"
To private messages, normally the MODS do nothing apart from lay about headquarters smoking and knocking
back the whisky, but they do sometimes give some good advice, to help us get a little perspective on things .

So mostly those mods are just putting their feet up and living lavish lifestyles at ajb hq? Thank you for that insight TP I always thought they were committed crusaders endlessly keeping tabs on all our posts who let nothing stop the modding

Perhaps after todays fracas we can all virtually join hands and take a deep breath,
give ourselves a hug and a big mug of a hot sweet beverage of our choice and ......

I let the love out earlier when I got home. The Mrs just laughed but thanked me for reminding her to get the cocktail sausages out the fridge.

On blocking users, I use some old technology. I merely tippex their names on my screen . ;)

I am currently semi ignoring a member for the time being...... Until I find myself shaking my head, tutting and compelled to post a response, Ajb is big enough and has enough wonderful members posting to allow me to do this.
