Well, hell man! I hadn't even thought about the name connection. I knew I didn't like the sound of it when I heard it was coming our way.

    Love the mix man. Well played. :007) -{

Been looking on eBay for something similar to the Suede morocco jacket.
Maybe I am crazy but I think the orange tint (color grade) affected the color of the actual matchless jacket,
Seems like the jacket from the film is more white than yellow ish. So far everything I have found is around $30 ish shipping included. Still haven't pulled the plug though on a particular jacket.
Here's the ones that have caught my eye the most. Thoughts?

I'm looking to get rid of my XS Topman alternative that I had the collar done to look like the Matchless. Also looking to sell my Royale Harrington XS. Both for $100 each, plus shipping. I'll create a thread for it, but just thought I would throw it up real quick since you were looking. Tough size unfortunately.

Yeah that's pretty screen accurate! I am 5'11 and around 150 pounds I am not sure how it would fit I might be closer to a S or M.

    Hi everyone!

It was a longer break than I thought it would be; I really needed some time to get things sorted after the last couple of months. But we're back in action now!

New post: A review of (what I think) is a solid alternative for the QoS Green Party tie.

    http://www.iconicalternatives.com/2017/09/21/aklasu-navy-micro-pattern-six-fold-tie-review/

I've also updated the posts on:

    QoS Harrington Jacket: http://www.iconicalternatives.com/2015/12/02/quantum-of-solace-harrington-jacket/

    Black Cardigan: http://www.iconicalternatives.com/2015/11/30/quantum-of-solace-black-shawl-collar-cardigan/

    And Ryder IIIs: http://www.iconicalternatives.com/2015/11/30/church-ryder-iii/

Over the next couple of weeks I will be going through many of the older posts and updating each of them. There's also lots of new content coming!

    Thanks again for your patience!

    John

P.S. DanBond11, I agree with Chriscoop. The Wilson looks like the best option. And stay as far away as possible from that awful Armani knock-off (first link)!

I am sure this has been posted before but I am looking for some great alternative Bond watches for under $60-50? I know it's hard to find a quality watch for around that amount but I am sure there are some great brands like seiko that are reasonable.

I have been looking for something that will go with the "Spectre" NATO. I actually had a few Bond fans suggest I buy a replica/fake. They sent me photos and I'll be honest the watch looks very very similar to the movie version, but obviously it looks fake. It even says "omega seamaster". I kinda learned my lesson when I bought a replica/fake Rolex sub for $20. It looked good in the photos but when I got it, it looked pretty fake.

I'd rather have a real brand that looks similar than a fake that looks horrible. Most of the fake watches go for $25-$30, but I know I can buy the Spectre NATO pretty cheap and then I figure I can spend around $40-$60 on a decent homage? Any ideas guys? Thanks!

I'd stretch your budget just a bit and go for this Debert Omega homage. It even comes on the NATO! For $130 shipped from Amazon I'll think you'll be hard pressed to find a better tribute. Good luck!

Whatever you do DONT get a fake watch, other than the ethics behind them, it will certainly be poor quality that simply will not last, there was a fake SM300 le posted on here some time ago which looked spot on, even the movement looked OK to the untrained eye but that must have been an expensive fake and a proper genuine omega can be bought for £500.
Have a look at here http://www.iconicalternatives.com/2016/12/17/daniel-craig-james-bond-omega-watches/
Also orient, orthos Commander and parnis all do homage watches, but may be above your budget unless you can find one on eBay?

Actually that's a good call, I've seen these pop up while looking for nato straps. EBay has them for $115 with free shipping from China. Also the miyota movement is a decent motor thats in all sorts of known watches from known brands.

Have fun at the REISS sale Chriscoop! I'm sure you won't be leaving with anything ... :v

I've updated the post on the Barbour X To Ki To:

Tbh, not many new finds out there for this one. But I'll keep looking.

Coming up: alternatives for the ivory version of the Tom Ford cardigan (from DC's British GQ interview in 2008) and the R.M. Williams snuff suede Gilchrist boots.

Good article, that Barbour Lutz looks very nice and much cheaper than the Beacon.

A really awesome Islay alternative. Might pick up a pair myself.

It's funny you mentioned these. I just bought them today at a DSW store and I'm beyond pleased! Sizing runs on the larger size. I normally wear US 11.5 but the 11 was perfect. I looked a long time for the right shade of burnished brown. These also fit the bill for the Crockett and Jones Skye that DC has been seen wearing on the street. I can highly recommend them!

Thanks guys! After a lot of research I really think I might just go with a Casio or Seiko then get the Spectre NATO. Seems like the Casio is $44 on eBay free shipping and the Spectre NATO isn't to expensive. Cheap and not fake or a lame knock off.

Also my Dad bought me a black Harrington jacket from H&M (for my birthday earlier this year) which is pretty close to the QOS jacket. Also picked up the following; a long sleeved black button up which is similar to what Bond wears in CR/QOS, some tan chino pants and two polos (one black one dark navy). Both the polos are from old navy. Still hunting for a matchless jacket under $40. Found some great options just can't make up my mind!

I have the Lutz, its a great jacket, made on the same pattern as the Beacon, but has no chest pocket, patch pockets on hips rather than bellows pockets, but also has handwarmer pockets behind. Its also sized more accurately, and is my winter go to jacket

ichaice: Thanks! I mentioned before that I finally broke down and bought the Dept B. The price was just too good to pass up.

I created some flatlays for my IG account using different affordable alternatives. Just thought I'd share them here. You know ... for inspiration :D

Skyfall Scotland (yesteday I picked up a brown cashmere shawl from Nordstrom that works way better for the scarf. So I'll need to cut it down to size and redo this one at some point in the future)

Hey, check this out. It's sort of... a budget Craig collector? I guess it's still welcome here.
    I just came across this....
    https://huckberry.com/store/grayers/category/p/47844-brighton-sportcoat

To me, it looks a lot like that brunello cucinelli nappa suede jacket Daniel Craig has been seen in.

I'm not familiar with the brand.
