Topic: Franco Pop Line announced

I'm not sure if you all saw this or if this is anyone's thing on this site but I thought I would share.

I only have a few of these but was hoping and waiting for them to get a bond licence.

I don't see the point of these.  They are just generic cartoon characters you'd expect would be aimed at 2-5 year olds.  They literally could be anyone if the box didn't tell you who they were. Funko must be laughing all the way to the bank.

I agree somewhat however it's a collectible just like anything else, to each their own. The same could be said for someone collecting movie posters or clothing warn by James Bond. Some thinks this is the end all be all and others thinks a hobby such as collecting is ridiculous.

These have become cottage industry; Forbidden Planet has whole aisles devoted to them. And adult collectors seem to be snapping them up.

Now that's the super hero editions. I'll grant these look a bit generic but then so does Tony Stark and some others. I've picked-up some customs, I actually intend to get these licensed figures.

Sean is probably my favorite along with Blofeld.

I just pre-ordered both on Amazon. Along with Roger, Jaws, Oddjobb and Jill...
