    Ordered a 46, so if it doesn't fit I would trade for a 48. -{

  • Mantis,

If you could do me a favor and reach out to Luigi and see if he got my payment information, it would be greatly appreciated.
I know there's a big time difference between US and Italy, but it doesn't seem that my card was charged and today's also the last day for the second run. Thanks in advance.

I don't mean to sound glib, but I don't work for Tom Ford and I definitely don't work for their customer service....but here is his email if you want to check yourself.

  • No offense taken.

It's my fault for letting it get down to the wire.
    I e-mailed him. Thanks.

He should respond to you. Believe me, they don't want me to be the go-between as well... :007)

I will no doubt have a size 48 or 50 for sale once I have both in hand as felt the 50 was a little big :(

Was wondering if someone was still able to order a jacket or was the initial 50 plus the additional 5 the end of production?

    Thanks,

    Mike

Sorry for the confusion regarding my question what I should have said was " are people still able to place an order for this jacket or are they done producing it at this time". I wanted to try on a few jackets at the TF boutique in Miami next month to get an idea of fit. If i were to need alterations the closest location for me is in NYC.

Basically they are doing one last small run and you had to sign before the deadline last month. If you want one then you need to get on the list NOW (requires full payment). They might let you get on the list or they might not since dealine expired. I cant see another run happening after this so technically your last chance

I think there will be small chance of getting one of you order now but if you wait any longer there will be no chance.
I had tried to order a further jacket in the last order and was told no as it had been submitted to the factory, that was only two weeks after the closing date.
Also Tom Ford items can vary in sizing slightly I am normally a 50 but knit wear I can get away with a 48 and my size 50 Harrington feels to big without a lot of alterations that would be needed.

    Ross,

My ultimate concern is the shoulder measurement. Here are my measurements.

    I'm 5'9 205 lbs

42 Waist with a pair of jeans
    43 almost 44 chest
20-21 shoulders depending on the jacket/shirt
35-36 sleeves for a dress shirt

I'm thinking a 54 would be ok or a 56 with some adjustments to the chest, sleeves and waist.

What would you recommend on sizing and and I'll reach out to Luigi to see if they can make an additional jacket.

    Thanks,

    Mike

Well I sent an email to Luigi seeing if you can still order a Harrington. I advised him I'd LOVE the opportunity to purchase a jacket in a 54. That may change to a 56 based on any suggestions from the members here!

    Thanks,

    Mike

im usually 56 in Tom Ford Maybe 58.... I ordered a 54. The jacket runs large.

So I would be "safe" to assume the shoulder sizes runs large as well and just out of curiosity what is your shoulder/chest/waist measurement?

Sorry for late response.. I'm 45 chest. Shoulders not sure but its very broad, and waist is 38.
  • MikeG77MikeG77 Posts: 1,770MI6 Agent
LOL just a little late. I ended up going with a 54 based on your suggestion and also based on the chart as the 52 was too small in the shoulders and the waist. Have you had to make any alterations to your Harrington?

    Thanks,

    Mike

NO alteration. 54 Fit perfectly.... And I never wear 54 in anything. Usually 56-58 in most Tom Fords.

Agree with Welshboy. The jacket fits true to size. Go with your regular TF size.
