Bracelet with James Bond Crest

In order to kill time before Bond 25, I'm working on a bracelet with a silver crest of JB.
Are there members interested to have one?
I don't have the final price, but it should be less than USD40
The same crest will be available on a pin

Please note that:
1) The crest is 100% silver and will have "925" stamped on it
2) The crests are hand made
3) I'm not looking to make a profit out of it and will sell them at cost. For this reason, I will only make a limited number of bracelets
4) You have to be patient, as I need to produce first a sample which will allow you to decide if you order one or not
5) A piece of string will be attached to the holes on each side of the crest
6) As my mailbox is almost full, please add your username in this thread if you are interested

Cheers

Am interested, thanks, but will it be as large as pictured? It looked like it was covering most of your fingers as shown.

    Thanks again.

The paper model is indeed my prototype...I did my best to show the jeweler what it should look like.
I will post later today a sample of the string that will be attached to the silver crest.

    These projects are a really worthwhile thing to do, frustrating and time consuming at times, but once you've got your finished product and members are enjoying them its very satisfying. Well played Commandant -{

Thank you Mr. Chriscoop for encouraging me!
It is indeed a lot of work. You know what you are talking about :)

The jeweler is working on the prototype.
    I keep my fingers crossed -{

And it's a bracelet and not a necklace? I like the big crest but would like to see how it's meant to be worn. Thanks for taking on this interesting project.

See ASP’s reply to your last message, it won’t be a big crest - 18mm. Anyway I’d definitely be in as well!

For reference and to help Commandant a bit ( though I'm sure he doesn't need it) the pin badges I did were 18mm across the shield and 23mm from top to tip. Mine were only 1.75mm thick.

    Thank you for your help!

I wonder if I should make the crests thinner?

    What do you think?

For the time being, the holes are the same size compare to the width.

Bit confused, particularly as you're showing only the crest and upside down at that.
So it's silver on a silver bracelet? The bracelet itself is solid or something like a traditional ID bracelet so there's chain extending off the crest to each side?
I'd say I'm in but possibly a sketch -- even a rudimentary one -- would help.

I'm impressed by your Photshop skills!

I decided to start this project when I saw the below pic.

This gives you an idea about the concept.
For your information, the shop(different jeweler) is selling this one USD400.

So far more minimalist than what I envisaged.
Personally I'd like to see leather rather than the knotted cord or whatever.
If you added extensions you could pass a band through and behind.
I couldn't find anything online that I could readily manipulate in PhotoShop that wasn't either way too complicated or had some massive buckle but I think it could still be done simply and inexpensively.
Think it would feel more masculine, robust ... more Bondian.
    Last of my two cents.

No I thing 3mm is fine for jewellery, I went thinner with my pins due wanting them to sit flusher with the clothing they are pinned to.

I also think the proportions are good.
The jeweler has already started to work on the prototype, so it is too late to change.
    Thank you all for your suggestions -{

The bracelets are on the way.
Should receive them this weekend :)
I have ordered a first batch of 10.
Will produce more in October if there is more interest.
I had huge issues with the payment.
It is impossible to send money to China unless you have an domestic account.
The jeweler doesn't take credit cards.
I had to wait for a friend to pay and collect the bracelets for me.
I will post pics as soon as I receive them.

    Cheers

Please find some pics of the final version of the bracelet.
The band is black color and can stretch.

I have produced only 10 of them and can order more in October if there is interest.
They are in silver and stamped S925.
I'm not looking to make any profits out of this.
    Price is USD40 net.

    Cheers,

    Greg

WOW! Looks fantastic....I like that it is slightly chunkier than I expected...almost makes it look 'rugged'? A subtle nod to Bond but a great design look for those not in the know....

Thank you Mantis for your kind works.
    The crest is indeed thick.
I thought it would look nicer this way.
6 have been placed so far.

Just received this in the mail and I love it!! So subtle but obvious to the Bond fan...and comfortable. It doesn’t feel like I have anything on my wrist. Cannot thank you enough for doing these. Will wear it with pride!
