    Okay, have we missed something?
The Henley he is wearing with the MA Coat + Empire-Pic is R&B for sure

Is it possible that the production ordered Henleys from several Brands (R&B, Dary Cloth.,etc.) and in the end only the R&B appears in the movie. so maybe Darcy Cloth. has seen the trailer now and thought its their henley by mistake

Maybe they were one of the many henley brands production probably tried on before choosing the R&B one.

Theirs has a very narrow neck hem and shows only two holes per button - I think most pics of the Sa one show 4 holes per button but I'm open to being corrected......

Is the Darcy Henley the one he is wearing in Matera under the Connolly jacket?
  • NoiNoi Posts: 705MI6 Agent
hard to tell, the collar looks similar but the end of the armholes seems to fit more loose if you compare it to the short henley from Darcy's

My Rogue Supply jacket arrived today (grateful I don't have to worry about customs charges :) ). After emailing back and forth with Stag and because the XL was available and the XX was not, I went X. It measures very close to the same as some of my other jackets with the exception of the measurement right under the arms which is definitely smaller. It feels good unbuttoned but pretty snug buttoned. For those of you that have been wearing yours for a bit, did you experience some fairly significant stretch? Did you do anything specifically to speed up the stretching? I wondered about putting it in the dryer for a bit and then wearing it buttoned up. I really don't want to go XX as I'm afraid the sleeves and the body will be too long. I also wonder based on the weight of it how often I would button it up anyway. HELP

CANNOT find any European or UK supply 8-)
“Kempton Woolly Pully” - great budget option, would love to snag one if someone found a UK source of this.
Only missing the elbow patches which is a shame.
They’re a UK business, TW Kempton, they refer this design as the “1945” as per their own supply website. Looks like navy is discontinued now. Only Black and Olive. Maybe they would consider recommissioning the navy and adding elbow patches :v - worth lobbying perhaps ?!

    https://www.outdoorknitwear.com/crew-neck/89-the-1945.html#/size-xs/colour-black
Looks great though and an option in the warm up to Feb’s NPeal or as an alternative !

I have emailed and had this reply:

I will keep all updated when I get a reply.

    Seems like we’ll have a good corded collar military issue in navy very soon, plus maybe additional elbow patches to make more SA and no doubt a fraction of the NP price, herringbone cuff finish too! And at under £50 for all this, looks promising and I’ll be sure to get one for that price and to maybe get the elbow patches to match also, all good and will probably be my final NTTD piece as if I can get all this for about £50 opposed to the NP price, I know what I’ll be doing -{

Yep, I’d certainly say they’re mistaken, or just used a shot from the wrong scene. Also, after seeing their henley’s item page, I’m now pretty confused about clothing terminology. Does “vest” also refer to upper body garments with sleeves??

DON'T put it in the dryer with any heat....you can do a tumble with NO HEAT by putting it in a pillow case and toss in a few tennis balls.
Also, I have seen some good stretch with mine just by wearing it...I would say about an inch.

In the UK you would use the term “vest” for something with or without sleeves when it’s worn as underwear. So to describe an undershirt or a singlet

**UK Customs charge on RGT jacket update**

Got a letter back from Border Force today and they have reassessed the customs charges due on my RGT jacket from Stag Provisions in the US. For reference, I got it using the 15% discount and Stag very kindly refunded me the difference between that and their 25% off sale price (awesome customer service!). I was originally charged £101 in customs charges by Border Force. Wrote to them using the correct form along with the labels from the package (showing what they'd based their charge on, declared value etc) and email evidence of what I'd actually paid.

They have responded with a refund of £21.75 :)

By my reckoning this brings the actual price to a smidge under the £280 that Rivet and Hide are charging but not really enough to warrant the hassle although at least there wasn't too much of a wait for restock etc.

Happy to share any further details or how to apply for the refund if needed but its pretty straightforward.

Are they trying to say the R&B henley (assuming that's what "American fashion underwear" is referring to) is not the "authentic" SA one ?:) This brand seems convinced one of their pieces made the cut but it really doesn't seem to be the case.
