  I'm about 5'10" in height and pretty much always buy M in clothing so if you always where a M, it will fit you.
  
  If you watch David Zaritzky's (The Bond Experience) videos- I always wear the same size as him although he is slightly bigger chest wise than me so his jackets are a closer fit. But I don't like my clothes/jackets baggy so even though its not as close a fit as David Z's M JV jacket, its still a nice fairly close fit
