Topic: Roger Moore's quips for LTK?

I understand the book "Quantum of Silliness" offers a chapter on what quips Roger Moore's Bond would have used if he was in LTK. I haven't read the book, but I like the idea. What would Sir Roger have said (while raising his eyebrow, of course)?  ajb007/biggrin

On Pam Bouvier’s concealed Beretta:

“Thank goodness that was a pistol!”

On Sanchez’s death:

“You light up my life”

Or,

“Flaming...not that there’s anything wrong with that.”

Bond’s phone call to Leiter in the epilogue:

“Ah, Felix, or should I call you Skip?”

"...the purposeful slant of his striding figure looked dangerous, as if he was making quickly for something bad that was happening further down the street." -SMERSH on 007 dossier photo, Ch. 6 FRWL.....

After Milton Krest's death in the pressure chamber: "You wanted to be Mr Big, didn't you?"

When the first tanker explodes: "Out of petrol?"

When Bond hooks Sanches' plane to the helicopter: "Hang on there!" or "Hook, line and sinker"

During the demonstration of how the heroin is hidden in the petrol: "The world is really getting dependent on petrol".

Moore’s wit can also be contagious to his co-stars; Sanchez on Krest’s demise:

“His huge ego always sucked the oxygen out of the room.”

When Dario gets mulched by the cocaine processor: "Sometimes life is a grind."

Hilly...you old devil!

Bond after testing the "Felix Leiter" at the wedding: "I'm always looking for a new flame"

Re: Roger Moore's quips for LTK?

Sanchez’s death:  " He's gone to Blazes " .... " He left in a blaze of glory"
" So much for an old flame ".... " Always the Hot head "
" He always did light up a room ".... FRWL homage  " No smoke, and all that "

I reckon Moore's line after Krest's death would have been: "Looks like the pressure got to him."

Sir Roger would no doubt have raised his eyebrow at the winking fish.  ajb007/biggrin
