A Commemorative Watch For Each Film?

While reading the Art of Bond last night I came across this passage:

“So in addition to promoting the Seamaster as James Bond’s watch, they also developed a 40th Anniversary Seamaster watch, and produced 10,007 – which sold out in four days. We went to their parent group, Swatch and developed a line of watches – each one themed after one of the films…Keith Snelgrove” (pg. 231 in my Copy)

Do you think this refers only to the Casino Royale watch or does it mean that I can expect more commemorative watches, not just for up coming pictures but also for past films? I doubt that Rolex would participate in this, but who knows. At first thought this seems like a horrible idea, but then again it might be nice to own the watch from my favorite film.

I didn’t see where this has been brought up before so I hope I am not duplicating a previous topic.

the bond film swatch watches have been around for a while, if you do a search on ebay you'll find quite a few. theres even a large silver aluminium storage case for them with the 007 logo.

Thanks for the link. I was unaware of this line of watches. I just assumed that they were refering to a new line of watches with the first being the Casino Royale watch.
