Re: Craig is back: Discuss Bond 25 here

Would love  old Blofeld to return , infact I'd love Hinx to return  too  ajb007/lol   for a big finish  and
send off for DC  ajb007/martini

Re: Craig is back: Discuss Bond 25 here

I'd prefer a follow up to Spectre ending with Bond killing Blofeld, dismantling Spectre and returning to MI6 ready for his next mission.

Hinx return would be great, kinda like a modern Jaws ajb007/martini  getting exciting now isn't it ajb007/lol  ajb007/martini

Re: Craig is back: Discuss Bond 25 here

Only I'd love to see Hinx back with a really bad attitude  and a personal  reason for giving Bond a
painful death.  ajb007/martini  I still think his introduction  and train fight  were two of the highlights in SP.

Re: Craig is back: Discuss Bond 25 here

I too would like to see Hinx back.

156

Re: Craig is back: Discuss Bond 25 here

Maybe have Hinx running Spectre (with terror as opposed to brains) while Blofelds languishing in jail!

157

Re: Craig is back: Discuss Bond 25 here

Blofeld would have to escape of course,  a Spectre Special ops unit could do that. Could make
an exciting PTS.

Re: Craig is back: Discuss Bond 25 here

I don't think Hinx is the leader type, he should be more like a non-comical Jaws.

It would be interesting to see HINX being chewed out by SPECTRE leaders. This would give him a personal reason to eliminate Bond.

With Blofeld in prison, what is SPECTRE doing? Do the rest of the SPECTRE agents care about SPECTRE's mission to terrorise Bond?

Re: Craig is back: Discuss Bond 25 here

That spectre special ops team could be led by Kathryn Winnick ! Love the idea of main Bond girl is a real bad bitch to start with ajb007/smile  film has to end with showdown in garden of death!

Yes Brosnan has been bitter at times and rightfully so. EON stepped up their game considerably with CR concerning production quality. Considerably.

That is something that Brosnan would have got if he had had his fifth Bond film. So I understand his regrets. It's something that bothers me always getting to hear that Craig is so much better than Brosnan when it's due to much bigger budgets, production quality and even better casting, although that was great enough during the Brosnan era.

Craig got lucky to come at the right time. He is not better than any of his predecessors he just got better produced films. Not counting scripts of course, all of them have been quite mediocre to downright stupid in parts except CR. IMHO

Anyhow, it's about Bond 25: With P+W writing again I don't have high hopes, it will be the same old stuff like in TWINE to SP except CR.

Bond 25 even with a four year gap could,  - could -, be the first bookend film that doesn't stand for the low point in an era. The age thing does not favour it though imho.

I wanted Craig back badly after SPECTRE, in 2017. 2018 the most. I have to accept it's 2019 but I don't have to like it. In fact it's the single most offensive thing EON has ever cast upon us imho.

Die Another Day budget 140 million  usd,  casino royale budget 150 million usd

Sorry for not being on this thread.
It's how one uses the budget.
They did a very good job in CR (even if some people think that the casino set wasn't good enough, though I really like it).
Every penny spent is on-screen.
I wish I could say that for DAD.

That probably goes without saying about anything that happens nowadays.
People can make anything depressing.
Certain reviewers can even make Octopussy seem depressing.

I'd love to see another Rosa Klebb or Irma Bunt type female.

Re: Craig is back: Discuss Bond 25 here

If they insist on keeping Waltz and feel a need to wrap up that storyline, then do it in the PTS like DAF (except leave him dead). Then get on with a atand alone, classic, M sanctioned mission.

Please ...

Re: Craig is back: Discuss Bond 25 here

Irma Bunt was in the early drafts of SPECTRE.
I think at least some of the leaders of SPECTRE would try to get Blofeld out of prison, but their atitude to Bond is less personal than Blofeld.

Re: Craig is back: Discuss Bond 25 here

I think the movie should be about Bond vs Blofeld, but not a word about their childhood!
Bond should kill Blofeld in the Garden of Death.

Re: Craig is back: Discuss Bond 25 here

when they regained control of McClory's intellectual properties, did that include either Fiona Volpe or Fatima Blush?
