My most Extravagant Bond purchase yet again

Wasnt going to post but my excitement has got the better of me...

As some of you know I had to let go of my AM DBS in Casino Royale due to a career change. Broke my heart. Ran a beautiful Vantage for the last 3 years, but never quite matched the DBS for all out lunacy, looks or obviously Bond direct connection...

So months of searching were finally rewarded yesterday with a monster day of driving and my new DBS in Quantum Silver was finally in the garage!

Definitely my biggest Bond purchase as prices have steadily risen on DBS's over the last couple of years...

Raining in the NE of the UK last night and indeed most of the journey home so not quite as pristine as when I collected her.

Pictures to follow once the weather improves and shes cleaned up and in front of a nice view...

Just to add, I got her home with all doors in tact, no bullet holes and no run ins with any lorries or Alfa Romeos

    <screams with eyes popped>

You're a lucky man!!! Will you be changing the wheels to movie accurate ones? :D (that would be properly crazy, to make the car 'screen accurate')

    Enquired already...
Difficult one as the DT ones on are £5800 from AM. The originals are "just" £3300....
Going to see how I feel after a few weeks
Hasnt got the Carbon seats either. My man maths and convincing policy included the 2+2 option for the wee ones. So never going to be completely 100% SA
But close as possible without getting obsessive (and expensive)....
Heres a nice dealer taken pic

    Great purchase and congratulations.
This is my dream and beside it's out of my price range, I have a company car and no need of my own one. But I hope I can have one in the future.

Congratulations! I was walking down the street the other day and heard that throaty roar that only an AM can make (although some Maseratis get close) and turned to see a beautiful DBS coast past. It made my day, so I can only imagine what your acquisition did for your day!

Having seen a DBS in person, I can congratulate you on owning the most beautiful Aston Martin ever created.
Were both of your Astons in Quantum Silver or was one a Casino Royale Gray?
The wheels (even though they are not SA) look very nice, I wouldn't change them if I were you.
You'd still need a motorised hidden section and a P99 to make it truly SA. :D
    Again, congrats!
    a reasonable rate of return

First one was Casino Royale grey...
I loved it but not so much for the colour, has a lilac look to it due to the flecks... Can also look a bit flat.
Quantum is stunning in real life, darker grey with a bronze fleck. Looks black at night and quite silvery under sunlight...

And agree re DBS looks. Could have bought a new vanquish for the same ££££££'s but just prefer the DBS's shape

The wheels are stunning, will see...

Heres my now sold dbs, for posterity...

May I join the list of 'Jealous' please - but very happy for you!

I had the pleasure of driving a DB9 at full tilt around Brands Hatch a couple of weeks ago. It was an incredible experience and I can only imagine what it must be like having a DBS sitting in the garage every morning.
    Yes. Considerably.
