Back where it belongs although 13 months behind schedule, at Bond In Motion, with the lady herself hanging above, next to the Wallis Little Nellie component part flying case which it was last seen inside in the window of Selfridges Department Store in London back in 1967  ajb007/martini

Donk, so great to see them finally reunited!!
Glad that together (with my meager contribution) I was able to assist you in being able to get them back together!!!

Re: A Rare 1967 survivor has surfaced! ....Prop Update!

Bad news guys (from 2020? Never!), courtesy of the Pandemic and Sadique Khan’s personal vendetta to destroy The City of London!, Bond in Motion has closed its doors for good although EON are looking for an alternate venue to exhibit their Archive goodness when things return to normality! Remember 2022 is The 60th Anniversary so regrettably Sir Sean’s Bucket has been returned to Donk’s Place in less than sunny Enfield!

Sign of the times I guess. Such a shame spent many an hour there just looking as you do over the last few years

I hope BIM does return when COVID has passed - best returning to normality opening day you could get (socially distanced of course  ajb007/lol

Sad news, only just saying the other night looking forward to going back when the Covid situation improved...

Re: A Rare 1967 survivor has surfaced! ....Prop Update!

Very sad news. I visited three times and was like a kid in sweet shop on every occasion. I was also looking forward to returning and seeing the NTTD pieces. Really hope EON arrange another location, as far as I know it was a very popular exhibition.

Amen to that Ed! A considerably shorter exhibition run than expected but Little Nellie ARZ-B is housed at The Shuttleworth Collection here in the U.K. so when all this Covid unpleasantness has passed us by I believe that will be the next or final resting place for Sir Sean’s bucket!

For those who do not know, Warner Brothers purchased The London Film Museum so EON had to vacate the venue so Larry Hotter could move in. If in 2022? A new London venue can be secured then Sir Sean’s bucket (I’ll let EON and The Shuttleworth Collection fight it out!), the OHMSS Angels of Death Asprey set and other Modest Collection properties which are currently in storage will again be meeting the public  ajb007/martini

Crazy isn't it? The marketing and promotion of James Bond other than around film releases, is pretty non existent relatively.

As a side note, I've mentioned before but why oh why have they never produced action figures... ajb007/confused

Re: A Rare 1967 survivor has surfaced! ....Prop Update!

I said years ago Battersea Power station would have been an interesting location and perfect for Bond I guess it was just too far out of town (or too close to the real spooks).  ajb007/lol

Not many locations springs to mind they could use - but that said if everyone switches to WFH then there will be plenty of empty properties to choose from in the future
