I've always found Watchfinder UK are a very expensive place to buy from - they always charge top end prices. Better deals often at Chrono24 and other sites in my opinion just in case anyone is considering it!

I was thinking the same thing! Does the pricing on Chrono24 and watchfinder include VAT?

Yes, they do. And in both cases, these are asking prices.
Compared to a few Quantum models on Chrono24, Watchfinder does appear to be at the top end. (£3200 - £4000). However, you get a serviced, guaranteed watch and peace of mind buying from them. I have bought from them and have found them excellent to deal with.

Only problem with watchfinder (like some other greys) is that they polish the watches giving the impression they are in superb condition

Other places can offer serviced, guaranteed as well - just need to look at who the dealer is and what they are offering. I bought a Tag from Watchfinder (“guaranteed” etc) which I returned as it didn’t have serial numbers on the watch; I wouldn’t fault their customer service as they were very good about it. I’ve also bought from Chrono24 and have had excellent experiences on 3 different occasions. As with many things, research and due diligence goes a long way!

    This is true!
I had a look to see if it used to be mine, but it's either never been worn or been polished, those clasps mark easily and mine had a couple of slightly flattened bezel knurls.
It was either that.....or the priesthood
