REVIEW: Spectre Mockneck by Magnoli Clothiers

I've always been a huge mock neck guy and when James Bond wore one in Spectre I was thrilled that my favorite super spy was embracing this look too. When the Spectre poster came out, I wanted to get the same one Bond was wearing but I just couldn't justify spending what N. Peal is asking for ($500 when converted to CAD). That's where Magnoli Clothiers comes into play. They have a 100% Cotton version of the mock neck that matches the look perfectly without the huge price tag.

Magnoli has absolutely nailed the color of the sweater but made it cotton so it's much easier to care for than cashmere. While obviously at $55 USD this isn't cashmere, the cotton feels amazingly soft and the fit is great. If you're looking for the Spectre fit, go with the size you normally wear. If you want something a little looser, size up. I'm 5'10" - 180lbs and ordered the Medium which fits me great. The arms are the right length, the band around the waist fits well and the chest is snug. It's always tough to order online when you haven't tried something on or felt the item before but this shirt feels fantastic and I know I'm going to get a lot of use out of this, on it's own or under a blazer.

I give it 5 stars!
