Thank you for the word, TP. I actually had to look it up since it was new to me. You live and learn.

I should have a word for you too :)) ........ yes. This is a Norwegian word (obviously) that featured heavily in an episode of Bones:

    Skalle

I can't believe you had to look it up Number24, you musn't of watched DAF
In a while. ;) I had to look up Skalle ( I don't watch many episodes of Bones,
as British crime dramas like " Touch of Cloth" are much superior ) :D But I
Will use it more in conversation. :))

When I looked it up in Norwegian, google automatically switched to Swedish !
    I'd complain if I was you. :p

It was hillarious when Bones tried to lecture the other people in the lab on how it's pronounced - she was horrible!
But it was even better in the episode of X-files where they meet "Norwegians" - obviously American actors who had been instructed by some Swede who was under the delucion he knew Norwegian :))
  • ThunderpussyThunderpussy Behind you !Posts: 63,792MI6 Agent
:)) but how is it used as sometimes translation loses something :p
Is it meant as headbutt, or as in your heads up your butt ! :)) or both ! :D
( or have I looked up the wrong word, for the first time ............. Again )

Like many English words it has more than one meanig. It can refer to both a skull and a headbutt. You can use it in conversation outside a pub on a Saturday night :D

    Well, not surprising coming from him. He stole all of his policies from the One Nation Tories of the 1950s and 1960s anyhow and presents them as new. Time for the Tories to claim back their political heritage I say! -{

    Cleveland , Python damsel (nice)

Baker (nap at home pal & don't take your crappy mood out on the customers X-(

    Prowse (all right)

I thought it was 3-PO who was a p*ick to fans , I guess R2-D2 has been bitten by this bug as well......not to mention Chewie , that's another guy that's grouchy to fans :))

(I prolly could've shot myself in the head and Mayhew prolly wouldn't even lift his head to see what's up)

Would anyone remember an old bbc2 comedy show " Operation Good guys " ?
It ran for I think four series ( I have them on DVD ). Although many site
" The Office" as the first documentary comedy, but Operation good guys was
years before it. It was about a police unit trying to bring down a local criminal
Godfather. :)) I thought it was really funny with some brilliant characters and
Stories. Sadly many I talk too haven't heard about it. :))
