    Sadly he passed away a couple of years ago, aged over 90. His son-in-law Vic Armstrong also worked on many a Bond, starting with YOLT- another example of the Bond makers keeping things in the family.

    Octopussy: Does it seem strange that the hotel staff would unpack his bags and hang his clothes in the closet? Or is that normal for high-end hotels? Lucky for the hotel staff that Bond's suitcase was not booby-trapped.
