I think you're all being too hard on Teutonic Tots.

Re: Props - No Clothes

New here! I have been a member over at MI6 for 10 years now. I bought a walther ppk with the silencer 007 edition! It should come in a few days. Also just bought this replica submariner,

Here are the photos the seller sent me, so I am pretty excited. Everything looks legit.

Welcome aboard!

As a general rule, fake watches are kinda looked down upon here, mainly due to their sale financing many criminal activities. Replica watches are thought of as watches made by legit companies that look like our much beloved omega and Rolex brands, watches such as the tag aqua speed for instance.

Anyway, welcome and hopefully you'll find your membership a long and positive one!

Re: Props - No Clothes

Here's my tiny Bond prop collection.

Starting with my Denix PPK replica and custom suppressor made out of a Wind chime display rack leg. Recycling at it's best.

Next up are my GoldenEye mine replicas. I'm not good with electronics so mine don't have the LED's.

And lastly my Spectre Ring.

Fun stuff! Love the weapon, the homemade silencer and the old school Oyster kicking it back toward Ian Fleming!

You do realize that is a copy of a PPK/S? The 'S' stands for special to the American market. It was created from a PP frame and a PPK slide to circumvent the Gun Control Act of 1968. Then Walther licensed Interarms to manufacture the PPK (and PPK/S) in the States which was not part of GCA68 and was not against the law.

Re: Props - No Clothes

Looks like airsoft, maurushin is it or something? Can't remember the manufacturer but I've got the P99 from the same stable, they're nicely accurate, certainly good enough for display.

HerrMichael is right though, the S stated by Q in Skyfall stands for signiature as in PPK - Signature as it reads Bond's palm print so only he can fire it. Standard PPK/S it is not I'm afraid.

Re: Props - No Clothes

The airsoft pistols are SO close to the real. People who own the real have been fooled. Don't take it out in public near the police!

Re: Props - No Clothes

It would be very difficult to fool a collector even at fist glance. The roll marking is a dead giveaway which draws the eye to it immediately.

Still, not a bad prop for those who cannot own a firearm.

For me the photo alone is pure gold.  One of if not my favorite Bond film.  Would love to locate one myself.

The last few gun owners to my home were fooled when they first looked. Don't take these out in public!
