I've said it before and I'll say it again: Michael Giacchino must score a Bond film or I would have to believe that Michael Wilson and Barbera Broccoli are deaf (or just don't care about what the fans want from the score)
I was lucky enough to meet Michael Giacchino at the Academy composers series last fall and afterwards had a chance to talk to him. After telling him how much I enjoyed his work, I jokingly called him out on using the "Dawn Raid on Fort Knox" cue as well as ripping off the Space March from YOLT.
His response? A sheepish smile and a quick change of topic! He was kind enough to take a picture with me, though )
