Personally I think this list is a load of rubbish! I'd be surprised if anyone here agreed with it. Anyone elses thoughts?

I second the motion! -{ Total rubbish. RottenTomatoes should be taken with a grain of salt.
"The secret agent. The man who was only a silhouette..." -- Ian Fleming, Moonraker

    1) The Spy Who Loved Me 2) On Her Majesty's Secret Service 3) GoldenEye 4) Casino Royale 5) Goldfinger

Are people around still harsh and snobbish on this film simply because of its un-EON state? I can perfectly understand not liking it on its own merits, but its still a Bond film, no?

It would be above Tomorrow Never Dies and Die Another Day, but below Moonraker -{ I don't know why I didnt include it, I didnt forget because I looked it up originally, I guess I just dont think of it as 'official'. And the fact I hated it! :p

First post here, and what a better way to rank-order the films of my favourite franchise!

    1. A View To A Kill - Roger Moore is actually my least favourite bond, but this film is obviously very strong and I enjoy it thoroughly. It has some outstanding action sequences and is so exciting from start to finish. Zorin is amazing too.

    2. Goldfinger - A true classic. I feel it introduced the true bond formula, and handled it magnificently. Also a fine performance by Sean, the best bond actor ever.

    3. You Only Live Twice - This film is awesome, and I love the japan locations. A fun bond film.

    4. From Russia With Love - Amazing film, and Sean gives a magnificent performance. The train fight is brilliant.

    5. Thunderball - Another Sean film, but he's my favourite bond, and this film has lots of excitement in it. I loved the serious threat of SPECTRE.

    6. On Her Majesty's Secret Serice - Lazenby was ok in the roll, but it's a shame as this is the only one he did, and it really was a brilliant film with a great, emotional ending.

    7. Dr No - The first, and a true classic. Sean is on top form, and Honey Rider is a great bond girl.

    8. Casino Royale - Saved the franchise. Emotional and brilliant story, cleverly written.

    9. Skyfall - Only seen it 3 times (Only ha!) so hard for me to rank, but the more I see it, the more I like it!

    10. Diamonds Are Forever - A little flawed in places, but hey, it's a connery film! And he is the best bond IMO, and I enjoy his performance lots in this.

    11. Goldeneye - Brosnan's best. Entered a bond for a different generation.

    12. The World Is Not Enough - Another good Brosnan entry. Decent story.

    13. The Living Daylights - Refreshing bond in Timothy Dalton. Very close to Fleming's portrayal. Good film, but weak villains.

    14. Licence To Kill - Again, Dalton is very good. The film is a little too gory though, not that that's a bad thing, but just different.

    15. Die Another Day - Had some cool elements. Halle Berry looked FINE. Some bad CGI though.

    16. Quantum Of Solace - Not bad to say the writers had a strike. But it does feel a little rushed in places.

    17. Tomorrow Never Dies - It's ok. But I just prefer Brosnan's other entries.

    18. For Your Eyes Only - Apart from AVTAK, I was never fond on Moore or his films. FYEO has some good scenes however, and a good, rounded story.

    19. The Spy Who Loved Me - The PTS is fabulous. But the rest of the film has a little too much comical relief.

    20. Octopussy - Too much comic relief, although it had an interesting plot.

    21. Live And Let Die - Moore is just not convincing in his fighting scenes. Kanaga's death was stupid. Solitaire was great though.

    22. Moonraker - Silly.

    23. The Man With The Golden Gun - Again, silly. But what makes things worse is the return of J W Pepper.

Just my opinion, they are both poor Bond films. :))
I hate QOS But rate that higher than Both NSNA and CR 67.
I can't understand the affection for NSNA it's so slow, I almost
fell asleep watching it, and CR67 is too silly ( It's not even funny )

NSNA has superior performances (especially Connery, who gives his all for the first time since, ironically, TB), and decent first two acts. I can't say either about QOS.

Not at all. I just have never gone out of my way to watch them and they aren't anywhere near as prevalent in the shops and rental stores etc down here in New Zealand as the EON ones. If I saw one on the shelf I am sure I would pick it up. But I never have and therefore I've never seen either of them.

Fair enough - you didn't once give the cliuched "Well, its not EON Bond, so it doesn't count" BS, so I applaud you, sir. Sorry if it seemed like I grilled you - reread the posts of mine and kinda sounded like a dick. Sorry if you were offended.

I will, however, not apologize for the blatant ignorance of NSNA in these films. The least this film deserves is to be aknwoledged for the Bond film that it is. Lets end this propagandistic BS on EON's part and accept this film as a legit Bond film, albeit not made by EON.

NSNA IS a Bond film, how could it NOT be? Over the years I've seen it maybe 25 times. I actually gave it a rather glowing review in my college newspaper back in '83. But that was more for Connery than the actual film.
