The new shots come from the riverside location at spa town Karlovy Vary in the Czech Republic, where James Bond is arriving at the casino for his high stakes game with villain Le Chiffre.

Daniel Craig wears a smart blue suit and sunglasses as 007, and is pictured on set with producer Barbara Broccoli. The last shot is of Bond's new wheels - the Aston Martin DBS.

    Lord! Like Scammel wheelnuts! :D

Must say I hoped they'd stick with that nice one button style suit for Bond; I thought it looked great on Craig.

Babs -- two words -- padded bra. B-)

The 4th pic -- that is Craig isn't it? If so I know it's non camera rolling non Bond (heck even if it isn't Craig it's still a non cartoon person so the question holds) but what's with the Ed Grimley hair? Is that ever a good look? :))

I don't think it is necessarily Craig. And I like the suit, 3-button is the way to go.

Look, he is wearing Persol's again! Oh great, another pair I have to find...

And speaking of pair, geez Barbara....you could pop balloons with those things!

After looking at those pics of Babs, would somebody PLEASE hurry up and invent "Touch Television?". :D

Who cares about Craig in these shots when you have imagery like this?

Going out of style a bit now, though, isn't it?

Whoa! Now that's a side of Babs I've never seen before. I guess Danny Boy must leave her shaken and stirred. :p

At least he's got somewhere to hang his coat :o

    I think MBE's right ... a bit of padding wouldn't go a miss

I swear, Short's Ed Grimley was the first thing that came to mind! :))

A Saturday Night Live character from the 80s, played by Martin Short. And he was always dancing. :D

I've always thought Barbara was a very attractive woman - don't know what the general concensus is - so these photos are a bit of a treat!

By the way, to respond to the earlier suit conversation, I'm strictly a 2 button suit man myself. Four buttons on the sleeve, single or double vent at the back, depending on how the mood takes me. Thought Craig is looking pretty good. Been meaning to get myself a new navy suit actually.....

Babs to Daniel: "Just so you get the point. . ."

But serially, Babs is an attractive woman, though at times I can see a bit too much of Cubby in her face. Now her mother, Dana, that was a beautiful woman!

Isn't the 4th pic just two crew members and a car?

And... does this mean no tuxedo? :o

I don't know what to think but I don't really like the look of Craig with the sunglasses. I hope the sunglasses are from Craig and not from James Bond.

Does anyone think that these shots are in reference to the explosion scene? That is still in the movie I hope...

That's a nice suit...not too keen on that color of tie though.

Well, I think he looks terrific in the suit and those sunglasses. It´s FRWL.. Yes, she looks retro, but that´s also cool. They are making a movie in the 00s but with a 50s early 60s flavour to it. I´m all for it.

I really love the retro feel of this picture:

That image could have come straight from my reading of the book.

That's what I was really hoping for- I hope it extends to more than we see here. I watching Ocean's Eleven last night and that has a great 50s/60s feel even though it's entirely modern day. Hopefully Cr will be similar (although I fear the suits aren't as nice! Well, his aeroplane one excepted).

I'm going to go on record as stating that I don't like Craig's haircut very much. I like his hair in that promo picture with the Aston Martin, but I don't really like his hair in this style.

If this movie and this James Bond has a motto it seems to be: "It's not about the hair".

I guess we have to (temporarily) stop looking at Bond as the handsome ladies' man we've known for 40 years. Craig definitely looks better when he's snazzed up a little, but let's face it, he's never going to be that kind of Bond - he's just too (pick one, depending on your optimism-level) A) fugly B) Steve McQueen.

can I ask - what does 'fugly' mean? I have seen it thrown around a few times since Craig's casting.

Yes, Babs is very distracting, but minus her peep show, I'm loving the pics. Craig looks very, very Bondian! that's a terrific suit!

I think one of the reasons is that the 50s look is very "in" these days: the short haircuts, the narrow lapels, three buttons, etc ... people often make fun of Craig's haircut but that "spiked" look is very much in style. I see it all over the place on young people.

It's all stylish, though a mix of various styles (the 3-button was popular in the 40s and late 60s/early 70s and then again in the 1990s until now, while the thin, high lapels are more a product of the early 1960s). The haircut isn't retro, though -- too tossed about to be considered groomed by older standards; kind of a 1950s bedhead.

At any rate, Craig definitely is looking more Bondian with each image (except, perhaps, that last one of him getting made up). There's a bit of a Connery vibe in the very first image, though I still do wish they'd darkened his hair a bit more. Alas, that will likely happen in the next film. For the record, I dig the sunglasses, too.

Agreed, he really looks awful. To me, the look of this film just gets worse with each new photo or video clip. Craig is just completely miscast--let's face reality, this is not the darkly handsome man that Fleming was writing about. Then again, the filmmakers have deviated so much from the original novel that it's even meaningless to try and relate any of this film to Fleming. What's worse, that hair cut they gave Craig is unintentionally demeaning. He's practically bald and what little hair he has looks so coarse as if it hasn't been washed in a decade. He reminds me of Jason Statham's Transporter character. Craig is going to go down in history as the worst-looking Bond. He seems to always have one expression, as if he looks like he's sucking on a pacifier. These photos prove that the filmmakers have lost sight of the Bond mystique and now we've got a lifeless, action hero like the Transporter character. I guess that insider a while back (Ludwig?) was right...he said something about Martin Campbell harking back to the style of the "Transporter" films.
