The reason this forum is up there with the best of them is that you don't get flamed for having a different opinion to everyone else. So, here are mine.
-Thunderball is down there with the worst of them. Boring, terrible villain and you couldn't figure out what was going on (or at least I couldn't) most of the time.
-Dr. No's death was so underwhelming (May not be eccentric, but what the hell?)
-Goldfinger is overrated big time. It's good, but doesn't even reach the top ten for me.
My favorite Bond film is an utterly conventional choice, Goldfinger. What's so eccentric about that? As I have already proclaimed elsewhere on this website, I prefer my Bond films to be light on the gadgetry and with more realistic stories. Goldfinger doesn't qualify in either preference.
I consider Connery's performance in YOLT to be quite good.
I think that Brosnan was able to deliver one lines extremely well.

I think she was a cool character, and think Richards did a good job with it. Yeah, it's not like it was a performance to write home about, but I don't hate it like some do.
