Does anybody have a picture of the gun Bond used in the early novels, I believe it is a 51 beretta, I cannot find a picture or any info on it anywhere. Please help me.

950 would be the nearest. Now called the Jetfire 950, the design has not changed much. Still a girly gun

Short barrel the 25 cal Jetfire has I believe a 2.25" or 2.5" barrel. Great concealment gun. Ankle holster, coat pocket, would do the trick nicely from 20'.

Sorry BJB, although that's the Beretta seen in Dr No, it is not the one referred to in the books.

GGG, I think (not 100% certain, and I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong) the gun Carey Lowell/Pam Bouvier had in her stocking top was the current version of the Beretta 950.
