Guardian Film of the Year vote.

The Guardian website is asking for votes to decide the film of 2006. There's a list of ten films to choose from, one of which is CR. You can cast your vote by following the link below. There's some other decent films listed, including 'United 93' and 'Children of Men,' so no shame in voting for something else if you feel inclined.

Shamefully I haven't seen all of those...

Hmmm, I'm torn. Do I vote for CR, which I loved, but which I sort of suspect I loved partly because it's the new Bond film? Or do I vote for Volver, which I just plain flat out loved?

Either way, credit to CR for even making this list; as can be seen by some of the other choices, the Grauniad takes its films seriously...

So which way did you swing, jestset ?

Easy choice for me - I've only seen one film on that list :))

I cheated - I voted for CR at home and Volver at work :D

CR got my vote. I was in France for most of the year and didn't see any of the other films.

CR is leading with 23% of the votes.
1- On Her Majesty's Secret Service 2- Casino Royale 3- Licence To Kill 4- Goldeneye 5- From Russia With Love

I absoluetly adored CR and thought it was easily the best Bond since The Living Daylights. However, I voted for United 93. I dont think I've seen such a piece of powerful filmaking in a very very long time.

I'll just take this time to wish one and all all the very best for xmas and 2007.

I have to say I was dissapointed with United 93. Was looking forward to it. But I thought it was pretty boring. I think it could have been done better.

CR got my vote. Haven't seen all those films though.
