Hello dudes, just want to know what you think of Agent Under Fire (first bond game on PS2). i had it way back when i had my ps2 (the first chrimbo after it was released) and i still like to have a go on it now. i never really got into any of the other bond games such as Nightfire (i actually found some of the levels on that quite hard) and i was well pleased when i finished the game. it took me about 6 months after i had the game to finish it but that was only because i played my other games a lot too. Just wondered what you thought of it and also whether you think it would make a good film.

I bought the Xbox version and had a lot of fun with it. The visuals were nice and I really liked the mix of different styles of play - 1st person action, driving vehicles, "on-rails" shooting. I stil own it and if Microsoft ever decides to make it backwardly compatible with the 360 I'll definitely give it another go at some point.

This was one of the first video games I had ever played, certainly the first FPS, so needless to say I started out terrible at it. Now with all my experience, I could probably do well if Msoft made it BC, like Tony said.

i am the same, i never really played any shooting games before and i think the only other role playing game i had played was Bugs Bunny on PS1 lol. its amazing how quickly that you get into a game once youve got the knack though.

I really enjoy (not enjoyed as I still play it) AUF as it set the path for all of these new FPS's and just shooters. It had stunning visuals for its time and had some fantastic music on some levels i.e. Forbidden depths 'what a score!'

My fave level might be either Bad Diplomacy or Forbidden depths, love the 'on-rail' shooting!

That reminds me of what people said when Goldeneye came out for the N64.

I think Agent Under Fire's an excellent game and I still play it occasionally. As already noted elsewhere, the visuals are outstanding--considering the time the game was made--and both the driving and shooting sequences still hold up today.

Like it's sequel NightFire,AUF even has a coherent plot, recalling some of the EON films(AUF being the The Spy Who Loved Me to NF's Moonraker) without facing the limitations generally associated with a direct adaptation of any of the movies.

the best part is to play multiplayer, to play the Escort mode with snipers only... like The living Dayligths... i don't know if Xbox allows 4 players to play that mode.

is the first 128b Bond game, but uses pretty much for everything the Bond theme. I like it, i finished long time ago, but i lost the file in the memory card, so when i have the time i play it...

NightFire is better in some aspects, but that doesn't necessarily makes AUF a bad game. But the story seems to unbelievable for me.

I really enjoyed playing this game, which makes me wonder what it would've been like playing it if it was released as planned...
