Hey! I have absolutely never posted on this forum before. But I'm a fan (I've been a wee bit more active over at CBN and MI6) and have followed a lot of the threads, especially everybody's 2 cents leading up to the release of Casino Royale.
Thought you might get a kick out of this... I'm a part of this film review show and here are some episodes we've done on the James Bond Canon:

These boys have brains. Their dissectation of the Brosnan era was spot on. The producers and directors seemed to come up with good ideas then mess it up. And if a Bond villain was only as good as its villains then each of the films were very weak. They got the Brosnan era spot on - weak, overdirected and full of silly decisions.
Casino Royale gets the accolades it deserves. The guy who dissed Craig sounds like he made up his mind before seeing it but I bet over the next few films he changes his mind about Craig. The remarks about Eva Green and Mads Mikkelson were spot on. And they are right, it is the best Bond film for twenty years. Full Stop.
Look forward in eagerness to the 1962-77 bunch.
I mainly agree with the Brosnan era, although I think that DAD is hands down the worst.
1 - Moore, 2 - Dalton, 3 - Craig, 4 - Connery, 5 - Brosnan, 6 - Lazenby
Thank you for posting these links. I enjoyed watching them, although I found the presenter's pronunciation hard to follow a couple of times. Nevertheless, the analysis was good, and I appreciate the way in which the contributors identify positive aspects within pictures they do not like overall. This demonstrates a more sophisticated discussion of the Bond series. Moreover, it was good to see Moonraker getting something of a defence instead of being dismissed as it usually is, as well as Timothy Dalton receiving a good airing.
I very much look forward to viewing the discussion about the early years.
