Hiah, I'm a journalist looking for information on Bond events from past films.

Ok, I'm sure that everybody's aware that scenes from the new Bond have recently been shot at the Siennese Palio.

In For Your Eyes Only there was a bob-sleigh chase at the Winter Olympics (was it at the Winter Olympics or was it just the Olympic Bob Sleigh Run that they used...?)

But what other worldwide events has Bond visited in the past? Has he seduced a samba dancer at the Rio Carnaval or been taken hostage during the Grand National in Britain?

If anyone has any information, thoughts or ideas I'd be really grateful.

Wow, that's quite a research

From, what I read here, it will be a looooooooong and intensive research as there is not much basic knowledge on your side.

He's been to lots of locations with local colour, but not too many events if I recall.
