James Bond's 45th Anniversary

Did anyone notice that the first Bond film was released 45 years ago on the 5th October? It slipped my mind! So, two days late (sorry James); here's a big happy birthday to 007!

Many people wouldn't take much notice of that because they might feel a number like that is not so much of a "milestone".

We'll all have to wait another 5 years when, in 2012, we can whole-heartedly celebrate Bond's 50th Anniversary. {[]

Hopefully the film that will celebrate the 50th Anniversary will be better than the film that celebrated Bond's 40th Anniversary.

A belated happy anniversary to the cinema's most enduring hero, Bond... James Bond.

Even if 45 is not as big of a milestone as 50, I still think a round of sheers is order after all,
how many other film series have gone on this long with so many changes in the world.



PS My birthday is also on October 5, I turned 25 on Friday.
