Here are the results of a similar game played over at MI6. There were a lot more people involved and it took nearly two months, but the rankings were, on a whole, more reasonable imho.

    01. On Her Majesty's Secret Service
    02. Goldfinger
    03. Diamonds are Forever
    04. The James Bond Theme
    05. Thunderball
    06. Live and Let Die
    07. A View to a Kill
    08. You Only Live Twice
    09. From Russia With Love
    10. The Living Daylights
    11. Casino Royale (2006)
    12. For Your Eyes Only
    13. The Spy Who Loved Me
    14. Octopussy
    15. Goldeneye
    16. The Man With the Golden Gun
    17. Moonraker
    18. License to Kill
    19. Casino Royale (1967)
    20. The World is Not Enough
    21. Never Say Never Again
    22. Tomorrow Never Dies
    23. Die Another Day

Interesting how it's very similar at the lower end (allowing for the fact that ours didn't include CR67 and NSNA). The most significant difference IMO is that NDIB is a LOT lower in this poll.

    04. The James Bond Theme "You can't be serious !"

    17. Moonraker whereas 02. Goldfinger and 03. Diamonds are Forever is irrational

I'm surprised CR 67, (which must have been 'The Look of Love) didn't score higher.

Look of love is a separate song. CR 67 theme is that one with the posh guy singing 'they've got us on the run, with guns, and knives' etc etc. Not suprised it scored low tbh lol. A silly song. Fun though.

That explains it. I genuinely can't place it, so it must be fairly unmemorable.

Burt Bacharach wrote the music, which is heard over the main titles played by Herb Alpert. The vocal version is heard at the end, sung by Mike Redway.

Yup, that's the one! :D I prefer the instrumental version to the vocal one- and "The Look Of Love" to either.

I can't say that I'm surprised that Theme won. It really is the king of Bond themes/songs. :007) I would have put GF at number 2 (ahead of OHMSS) but OHMSS is a worthy runner-up.
