As far as I know he tested for Goldeneye, but was never actually offered the part. That seemed to be Brosnan's gig all the way. If you type Adrian Paul into the Search facility at the top of the page, it will show you a fair number of threads discussing Paul's involvement with Bond. {[]

Adrian Paul was an actor I would have loved to see play Bond. I think he would have been excellent for the part. Doesn't hurt that he has a resemblance to Connery.
