Which war film is this?

Hi,
I am trying to remember a certain war film could anyone help?

I can only really remember one scene in it. The scene is of a bunch of american soldiers behind enemy lines. They have one black soldier with them who they have to bandage up his hands and face as they are all dressed up as Nazi soldiers.

Ring any bells?

I thought it was the dirty dozen, but have just watched this and the dirty dozen : fatal mission but it is neither of these

No it is not that one. Forgot to say I saw this as a kid so it must be at least 20 years old

Hmmm. Did a quick search on imdb and similar movies to The Dirty Dozen were, Von Ryans Express. Some others that came up were Stalag 17, The Great Escape, The Longest Day. Any of them ring a bell?

Easy to see how the title of this flick escaped your memory - very forgettable film. Couple of Bond vets in it though!
