I spotted this on MI6, not sure if I'm allowed to cut and paste (the actual article) from there, so here is the link.

There is a over 2 mins worth, which includes B-roll scenes and gives a sneak peak at some aspects of the movie as well as interviews with Daniel Craig, Olga Kurylenko, Mathieu Amalric, Gemma Arterton, producer Michael G. Wilson and director Marc Forster.

{[]Thanks for posting this Lexi, some interesting stuff here. Neither Leading lady comes across very well to me, or has the 'wow' factor but we will have to wait & see how they fair in the final cut. I like to battle worn look of Daniel but hope it is balanced by some sharp tailoring and a bit of panache as I don't want Bond just to have a miserable two hours on screen like Jason Bourne. For me one of the crucial differences between Bond and Bourne is that no one in their right mind would want Bourne's life. That's true of Bond to of course, but at least with Bond their should be compensations.

I think the movie is going to be great!

I think Olga will be pretty good, but I'll be damned if Gemma doesn't come across as the "sacrificial lamb" in everything I've seen her in! I have no idea about the plot (NO SPOILERS HERE!) but I'm willing to bet she gets smoked like Bambi's Mother!!!

These rookie MI6 agents are like those crew members on "Star Trek" that you just know are going to buy it...

Thanks for posting. That's the best Diary so far, and I really liked the music. Can anybody tell me if that's new music for QOS or from a previous film.

Thanks for the link, Lexi {[]

I'm really stoked for this movie. I love the locations, the rumours about increased action, the cast---it looks great so far.

What I liked most was finally seeing more than a glimpse of Dominic Greene: "Don't talk like your friend--stupid!" I'm getting a bit of a Largo/Domino vibe here.

    John Drake:

The music is from the Casino Royale soundtrack - that particular piece is Vesper's theme. I think Arnold did a great job on that film!

Hopefully he'll continue to improve with QoS. Reminiscent of John Barry, but that's just what I like!

I've got to be honest, I don't find Arnold's music at all like John Barry's. It seems to lack an orchestral edge.

Barry did tension music astoundingly - Gumbold's Safe and Bond escaping in Khan's palace in Octopussy as just two examples.

These seem to be lacking in Arnold's scores.

Barry's mastering of the Bond theme was second to none also.

Arnold's Bond theme efforts have been flat, bar one or two exceptions, since Tomorrow Never Dies.

I'm hoping for a much more Barry-esque score for this number, starting with the all important gunbarrel sequence.

What I meant was that Arnold's music really only sounds good to me when he's copying John Barry! IMO I heard more of this in CR, and hope to hear a lot more in QoS!

That being said, I wish Barry was still doing the scores for 007!

Bond aside, Barry has done some INCREDIBLE soundtracks in his career. Dances with Wolves, Somewhere in Time, Out of Africa, High Road to China, etc... There is a great box set of his called "John Barry the collection: 40 years of film music."
