How Bond is chosen

Anyone heard of a book about how the movie version of Bond is chosen? Some sort of spoof comedy set in Hong Kong? A complete stranger was talking about it in the bar two nights ago and I can't remember the title (too many Martinis)

It's down to whoever is sleeping with Babs Broccoli at the time.

It's Central Casting, by a Jimmy McTee. But I know nothing about it. Has anyone read?

Yup. I lived in HK for a while and came across it through a google alert. You can get it here:

McTee's funny and he's a journalist (award winning one) so it's a great read. Anyone who connects with JB and the Far East will love it, if that's your scene . . .

Certainly nothing like that Connery film out there from 68 or whenever!

Um, I think you mean "You Only Live Twice" and it was 1967.

Have now read. Very good. A must for any Bond film fan. I see it has been talked about on other Bond sites.
