I believe it's the fabric that gives the TF coat its heft. The photos of the inside of the TF jacket on the 1st page show that only the top portion is lined with a thin layer of silk.
Then Magnoli's "skeleton lining" as he termed it is dead on. no pun intended I have had quite a bit made from Magnoli's as of late and i have nothing but positive things to say about him. he is definatly the go to guy with special clothing requests. if you have any other questions I will be happy to answer to the extent that i can.
