He should have plenty after Mama Mia.

With Mama Mia having taken about $600 million at the box office I think Pierce will be happy enough

I can't get over how you people are misinterpreting the "Ghost of Vesper" concept. He didn't mean literally a ghost of Vesper. He meant a legacy of Vesper. Somewhere along the way Bond runs into a recording or additional information left by Vesper to warn Bond. That warning would also a haunting reminder of her death and love for Bond. That is what was meant.

    Quoting: Napoleon Plural

    6) Vesper ghost pops up via messaging or something.

    - Help me Obi-wan Kenobi, You're my only hope!

The idea back there was to Eva Greene (?) to appear again in media format, filmed prior being dead, but that would give more info of Quantum. i'm not very moved with that.

    My thougths:

    1) Make it a little longer
    2) unite the chase-palio in the pre title sequence (thanks Jormanks)
    3) eliminate sooooooo many curvar lines in the titles
    4) Introduce Q BRANCH (i mean, so may hated the technology, but the door where M, Tanner (yay Tanner!) an Bond enter, could have a Q BRANCH sign on it
    5) make some espionage before La Paz (like when Bond was spying someone)
    6) More Fields time
    7) Give a decent (or at least a useful) henchman, and Bond Fighting him.
    8) Ending with a gunbarrel (it is just chilling)

Oh, an put the "JAMES BOND WILL RETURN" before the very ending, so people don't have to fight with the theatre people to see it.

If it aint broke, don't fix it I say.

Record breaking numbers at the box office already and the film has not even been out a month in the UK, less than 2 weeks in USA and a day in Australia!

    It is a great entry in the series, I think give it credit for being a superb Bond film and leave it alone. Some people are never satisfied! -{

I'd make no changes to the story line, but a few changes of substance to the pace and the general Bondian feel of the movie.

    1. Put the gun-barrel back in the beginning

    2. Change PTS: not a high-octane car chase but a leisurely drive by the lake, shot in a way to recall the PTS of OHMSS. That way, I avoid the overkill of three relentless action sequences in the film's first 20 minutes (which I thought was boring). The PTS would be cheeky rather than frantic, emphasizing the great landscape, the cars and the sexy Bond-stuff. Bond is overtaken by an attractive woman (who resembles Vesper). She is driving a luxurious sports-car and is challenging him to a race. He is tempted to take the challenge. But then he desists (or chickens out--we don't know whether this is because he is jaded or because he is being professional). Finally he gets to the rendez-vous point in Siena and the PTS ends as in the original film

    3. Change theme song

    4. Change action sequences to make them less Bourne-like and more Bond-like

    5. Drop the scene where Bond "saves"/kidnaps Camille from the speed-boat. Find another way to prevent Camille from getting her revenge.

    6. Cut Bond's location shifts to a leaner 3 or 4 locations (probably by integrating the Haitian sequence with the South American action and the Austrian opera with the visit to Mathis's villa)
    1. Cr, 2. Ltk, 3. Tld, 4. Qs, 5. Ohmss, 6. Twine, 7. Tnd, 8. Tswlm, 9. Frwl, 10. Tb, 11. Ge, 12. Gf, 13. Dn, 14. Mr, 15. Op, 16. Yolt, 17. Sf, 18. Daf, 19. Avtak, 20. Sp, 21. Fyeo, 22. Dad, 23. Lald, 24. Tmwtgg

    :)

    3. Change theme song

    Oh God, yes!

Back to the editing again- definitely agree.

Didn't have a problem with that

The only things the film needs are a better and much more faithful script, better director, better opening titles, and a gun barrel in the begining. The film doesn't need any of my plot point changes better I just threw them in here to be creative.

    1. Hire a better and more fitting director who would take the film in a better direction.

    2. Bond would still have his characteristic charm form Casino Royale, but this would conceal a violent meanstreak

    3. Make Greene more evil and give him more chemistry with Bond. I personally liked Greene, but think they could have added more to him. Greene would maybe kill a village full of Boilivans to cover up his operation.

    4. M would trust bond throughout most of the film, only to lose faith in him little by little as his revenge driven mean streak against Quantum's agents reveals itself.

    5. Bond and Camille would have stronger feelings for each other and have emotionally intimate scenes with each other. Camille would really come onto bind, but Bond would resist and his pursuit of revenge would result in her being captured by Quantum. Agent Field's death would be present and this would motivate Bond to redeem himself by saving Camille. By this point M would lose trust in him and he would regain it by doing this.

    6. During the conclusion, Camille would have the power to easily kill Medrano but would turn down the chance to save bond who would be in some sort of situation in which he would need help. Medrano would later be found tortured to death by Quantum's agents. This act of heroism would show bond the error of putting revenge above everything else.

    7. The script and plot would have less erratic action sequences and would be much more balanced like Casino Royale.

    8. Have a gun barrel opening sequence.

    9. Way better theme song and opening credits.

Now that you bring Bond - Camille.... It's just funny how neither is called on screen by his-her first or last name.

And she should have been called CamilA (one "L" and a final "A"), Camille is French and she was Half monk- half hitman.

Camilla puts us in mind of Prince Charles' squeeze in the UK, not so great.

I've realised that the 'will Bond shoot Camile?' scene aint so different to the finale of the last series of Spooks and that was done very very well; Adam and a blonde girl were about to be tortured and she begged for him to kill her. Final scene: the team track them down and open the jail door - but is it too late? Has he done the deed out of mercy?

    Next series
we see what happened. If I recall, the villain gets shut in with the pair, but she gets the better of him and then kicks the living cr@p out of him, him unable to escape with the door slammed shut

Something like that, Camile's vengeance sending her mad and ugly as she wipes him out, persuading Bond for his follow-up with Vesper's boyfriend that it's cooler to stay calm and objective, would have had ramifications for the character and make sense.
"This is where we leave you Mr Bond."
