Shaken and stirred

I just bought this David Arnold album and had a listen to it.

I was very dissapointed by the version of DAF. Shirley Bassay has a much better 'revamped' version on her Remix album.

The rest of the album was nice though, especially the Space March, OHMSS (wich even though it's very long, doesn't get boring) and I thought Iggy Pop was great on We Have All The Time In The World.

What did you guys think?
"Christ, I miss the Cold War."

Shaken & Stirred is a solid cover album, a particular favorite being Natacha Atlas' From Russia with Love, which sounds a lot more Russian than the original recording. The only major disappointment is the James Bond Theme - it's one of the most widely covered songs in film history, so it takes some talent to have such a low-quality version put on the album. It's unique approach to the James Bond Theme (that is not to feature it after the first few seconds) is something that should have been reserved for some drum 'n' bass compilation.
