Latest Craig interview on Bond 23

Does anyone have a link to the latest interview/statement by Daniel Craig regarding Bond 23.
I can't find much on this. Someone on another thread said he has said the 3rd film will be his last. I'd be interested to read this.

    Haven't heard this either, but I certainly hope he doesn't stop at 3.

    Wasn't it said somewhere that he had a contract for 4?

    i'd heard that he only ever wanted to do 3 as he didn't want to be stereotyped as being only able to play bond.

    I think it depends where you read these so called Facts, I too read that he only wanted to do three as I got the Impression he thought he was Slumming it as Bond, 2012 looks a little shaky as no firm facts can be produced, It's still all romurs at this stage when we should have some facts about cast etc. And given all the problems with MGM/Eon He might be Glad to walk away after Three. Sadly I think they will rush into production for 2012 and Might repeat some of the mistakes ( Although Others Loved them ) of QOS. Hopefully it will be an incentive to them to leave on an "Altime High " -{

    Am I in the twilight zone or some strange parallel universe. I thought it was common knowledge that there is an official release date for Bond 23 (11/9/12) with filming to begin in late 2011. As far is Craig is concerned, I don't have any recollection of him indicating that he feels he is "slumming it" as Bond. Lack of casting choices is nothing new at this stage in the game for any Bond films except for DC, Dame Judy and the possibilty of Javier Bardem. Craig apparently has an option for a fourth (which according to the new suites at MGM (and EON ) would be released in 2014 as it was also anounced that they were going back to an every two years production schedule. Based on what DC has said pretty consistently, he will keep coming back as long as the films are good and the charactor remains interesting for him. I'd say if 23 is more on the level of CR in quality he'll no doubt be back for 24 and he'll just be 47 for 25 so that may be his swan song. Ironically, Moore was already 46 when he did LALD.

    No HowardB, You're in the real world .It is I who live in a Parallel universe, As I stated in my post It Depends On what you read as to what facts you're given. It was Once common Knowledge the world was Flat, and Movie release Dates can change. If Craig wants to stay on for a couple More Bonds Then fair play to him, I wish him well.
    But I don't think he will, the trouble with MGM/Eon etc, and the fact that he has stated he dosen't want to be type cast forever. I've based my Opinion from what I've read and heard from the various media outlets open to us here in the Twlight zone ( Too mant Teenage vampires hanging around for my liking ) You may of read and heard other News, Which I haven't so obviously you have a different One.
    I'm not claiming to be Right or wrong just shooting the Breeze and as for DC Only comming back for Good Bond movies, well ......................... Was QOS ? Opinion is Divided :) I too Hope that Bond 23 is more on a Par with CR

    Well maybe the scope of what Thunderpussy has read far surpasses what I have seen and I could very well be in the twilight zone (and believe me I've been there having lived in Philadelphia for the past 31 years). There is alot riding on Bond 23 for MGM and I believe that EON delivers Bond to theaters in late fall 2012....good , bad or indifferent (hopefully good). The rest of it....truly time will only tell. But I'd still put my money on Craig being back for #24 unless #23 is a dog.

    I think like Most Members, I Really hope Bond 23 is a Huge success, a kind of Connerys GF or Moores TSWLM. Mabey it takes a couple of Movies before the get the mix right.
    Yesterday I read that Antony Hopkins was in the running as a Villain, I've been reading that since TND.But who knows it might happen someday.

    I would be surprised if Bond 23 is Daniel Craig's last film with the possible every other year Bond film schedule after Bond 23. Yes, Craig should finish the Quantum Group story but it's been a good deal of time since Quantum of Solace was released that if they were to start over after Bond 23, why not just do it now? Of course, that would be kind of admitting that Quantum of Solace was a massive failure and Casino Royale's success was in large part luck.
