Firstly, I apologize if this has already been discussed.

Has anyone taken advantage of the Casino Royale and From Russia With Love reprints from Popular Penguins for around five Australian dollars? The covers look great and the interior design really does the stories justice.

I quite like the Penguins. The size of the typeface is easy on the eyes. I like the covers, too because the art refers to the content. Whoever painted the covers actually read the books. Do the Australian Penguins differ from the American Penguins?

The Popular Penguins range is designed to be really popular novels at really low prices available for buying at airports or train stations, just before a long trip. The cover does seem really bare bones and boring, but on the shelf, it really makes you want to pick it up and read it all there and then.
