I like the idea of going back to the original style of gunbarrel. Just add a different bond score to it and it will look cool.

That's the music from The World is Not Enough gunbarrel superimposed with the ending of QoS.

I enjoyed the Casino Royale alternate. I thought the Quantum of Solace version was a clean production with a sleek look, but I really wanted an opening barrel.

Hopefully they are going to do a classic barrel sequence this time.

I am pretty confident we will see a classic gunbarrel sequence at the start of Skyfall. It is not connected to the previous two films and we should see Daniel Craig's Bond as an experienced 00 agent for the first time, like his predecessors. A classic gunbarrel sequence at the start would set the film up very nicely.
