This new Sky Movies 007 channel.. is it a channel that will be staying around? Or is it for a limited time only?

    That would make sense. I mean, if the channel stayed around forever, then I'm sure people would get sick of the bond films being on repeat all the time, as there's only so many of them

    Probably....just watched 3 back-to-back...and started my 4th :D

    I'm sure the novelty will wear off :))

    I'm hoping they will show some of the documentaries that have been made down the years....that would be good -{

    Some news of interest to those of you subscribing to Sky Movies 007. I have just read on another Bond forum that 1954's Casino Royale starring Barry Nelson will be showing first on Sunday 14th October at 7pm.

    I have just spoken to the guy at SKY TV and the channel is only on air for the month of October.

    So even though I have all the DVDs, and digital downloads on my laptop too, I bought the movie package yesterday from SKY. So glad I did! Much more than just the movie on SKY 007:

    - All the 007 films (obviously)
    - Casino Royale, NSNA and Casino Royale from the 1950s.
    - Featurettes.
    - Original movie trailers.

    This channel is a MUST for us all. As it's only for a month I thought why not!!!

    My girlfriend would do her nut if I signed up for this. She already thinks I have an unhealthy obsessions as it is. Managed to convince her to see Skyfall with me though ;)

    Oh, I do too... but when watching it with other's - I keep my mouth shut! :))

    I normally set up a powerpoint demonstration and brief lecture on the merits
    of the film we are about to watch. :))

    I usually strap them down and interrogate them...sometimes using whips and chains...strangely some seem to prefer THAT part :o :))

    I kind of miss the films being a rare-ish sort of treat on ITV from time to time (although I have the DVDs) I felt more obliged to watch them if they were on TV. I also love Sky Movies 007 though and think they should keep it longer, I am one of those who complain that we have so many channels and yet there's nothing on! Now there is always something on! I will be sad to see it go!
