Please delete if this has been mentioned before but I've just learned this:

Newscaster Cameo:
In the European release, BBC journalist Huw Edwards presents a news report about the attack on MI6's HQ that prompts Bond to come Back from the Dead.
In the North American release, CNN journalist Wolf Blitzer presents it instead.

I was just curious if there were any other differences to the film depending on it's release location (not including redubbing or text changed into native language)

I didn't know that. The Australian release got the CNN journalist as well.

I cannot speak for all of Europe, but it should be the same. It was Wolf Blitzer of CNN who presented the report about the attack on MI6's HQ that prompted Bond to return from "enjoying death". Huw Edwards of the BBC presented the report about the first five names on the agent list that were made public by Silva.
