thank you for your comments, sometimes doing something like this you learn so many things. so its never a waste of time. it takes patience! there was a concert saturday night celabrating 50 years of James Bond, so we parked the car outside for display. on the way home we had to take a picture with the Omega billboard!! haha

your CNC program looks like its based from a 1/16 car. I see so many issues, but you will learn if you ever build it. anyone can build a body, but making a body buildable, is a different thing. I say Asia only because this is where many copies and replicas are made. especially Malaysia, and I can see a Lamborghini mold in the background. good luck with cheap bodies, mine is more true. as you will see soon, it will be debut at 2016 Auto Show next month.

Most true will be a alloy replica wich is coming,(not from me),
And i think it's in the eye of the beholder.
I didn't say cheap? I beliven i Said fair. 8500:- is not cheap.
Consider that mr rogers mentioned here erlier made his for
    £2000 or something like that.

Martin, your are crazy, I don't think you have ever build a car before. $12,000US is cheap!! the CAD scanning, plug, molds, then body, costs are way more then $12,000US. 5 gallons of fiberglass resin is $235CAN!!! my project is well over $100,000CAN. unless you want to build junk, and have people laugh at your kit car sitting on the street. Mr Rogers made a DB5 for 2000 pounds? sure. and the tooth fairy still comes to my house, that wont even pay for the DB5 rear window. anyone can build a body! but can anyone here build a car? there is way more work past the body, 1st everything must fit, open, trim, glass, grills, lights, interior and so on. your not looking at the big picture, still to build a car, cost $50,000-$100,000 to start, unless you just want a bodyshell sitting in your garage for 10 years, like the home of most kit car builders. you must have nothing but free time :s :s
  • ZundappZundapp Posts: 139MI6 Agent
Yes I'm crazy :)) no i haven't build a car before.converted the resin in Sweden is around 180can dollar for 5gallons. Mr rogers body shell was £2000 nothing else.
Say hello to the toothfairy from me then :D .
I know is a hell of a project to pull of,but if i had the resorses you've got or maby jag64 it would be
Much esier. I have a homemade cnc and a 50 squaremeter big garage. And a wery limited
    Budget.
