I know that at AJB we all have different opinions about the Bond franchise and that in it self is what makes this forum so good. But is there some stuff about Bond we can all agree on? Thought this would be quite fun...I'll start off.
-I reckon we can all agree that the best Bond writer of the Literary Bond series is Ian Fleming.
-That Roger Moore bedding Stacey Sutton was slightly creepy
-Sean Connery doesn't look good Japanese!
-Moore shouldn't of bed Mayday in AVTAK!
-John Barry is the best Bond composer!
-That the CGI in Die Another Day is awful
-Another way to die isn't the best Bond song.
Anything to add?
1 - I can't comment on that as I've not read the books. But I'd guess so...

1. I'm reading the first right now, I like it very much. It really don't matter to me that they're old, but it does not feel to me that the Bond in the books isn't the same as the Bond in the films. Sorry, it could be the difference between it or just my mind.

Does anyone here actually like Jinx as a Bond girl?
Doesn't everyone? She is my favourite Bond girl! I thought we'd all agree on something so basic...

Maybe it's just me but I find her wooden, boring, and completely unattractive. And I'm not a racist at all. Naomi Harris has dark skin and she's spectacular. I just find Jinx unbelievably ugly

That's understandable - people have different tastes. I could never understand when people were talking how attractive Vesper Lynd was! While Eva Green is certainly not ugly, the horrible make-up and lipstick they put on her in CR made her totally unattractive. On the other hand, I find it impossible to imagine Halle Berry looking ugly, even if she tried (with Naomie Harris close behind).

I agree about Vesper. I thought they made her look worse than she should have. I don't think Halle Berry looked her best as Jinx, though the character had a lot to do with it as well. I think Lea Seydoux is one of the best looking Bond girls, which is something a lot of people don't seem to agree with.
I think Lea Seydoux is pretty, but nothing extraordinary. Girl next door really. She has a younger face and is nearly 20 years younger then Craigs Bond. I thought she did a darn good job, but I certainly don't think she's one of the best looking.
Dr Christmas Jones got a lot of criticism at the time, apparently an attractive and your woman cannot be highly qualified. Is Seydoux's character somehow similar?
