I'm sure Higgins will clarify, but that's not a NATO strap by the looks of it - no keepers and the pins look stitched in. A lovely classic model, harking back to the classic Connery era though, but I'm surprised you've chosen not to go with the SM300 for your premiere.

I know what you mean about the off-centre buckle on the Omega NATO (and on the actual NATO too) - it can actually be a bit uncomfortable after a while on the wrist. However, this is what you must put up with for the sake of fashion/screen accuracy, but remember (I'm sure you know Higgins) that the NATO was designed with an over-length strap so it could be worn on the outside of your clothing, over a flying jacket or over a wetsuit etc. The 'RAF strap' is similar to the NATO, but doesn't have the fixed keeper so you can centre the buckle if you wish.
I like it. Its what I wear at work most the time. That and the regular rubber strap and bracelet, but since I have to refinish the bracelet so frequently I do the nato strap.

Have been in the Omega Hamburg Boutique yesterday.
They are now asking EUR 200 (!!) for a NATO - I seem to remember EUR 150ish.
Has there been an increase?
In March I also paid EUR 200 for the NATO in the Hamburg Boutique.
So, if they have increased the price in the past, that dates back several month.
