Bond on the move.

Given the amount of ways to watch, read or listen to 007 these days. I was
Wondering if anyone had any go to Bond films/ books or audio books / soundtracks
When out and about, either shopping, waiting of travelling ?
On a few shopping trips I've been dragged along to I've passed the time waiting, listening
To TMWTGG audio book, watched selected parts of TSWLM & MR. :D
They really do help end the misery of shopping ! :)). Even waiting while getting the
Car serviced I watched large parts of Skyfall ! :D They also helped while away the hours
When I was called up for Jury Service, I had to wait for hours ( sadly I wasn't picked )
But I watched OHMSS.

    Well the Transit is a lovely van. :p :))
    I find myself multi tasking these days, thanks to
    The audio books, I can walk the dog etc and catch up
    On Bond's adventures. -{
    Out of interest which versions of the audio books do you have ?
    And would you rate one higher than the other ?

    I've got the new Ian Fleming Classic Bond Collection read by several different people. Some are great; Toby Stevens reads FRWL and does it very very well (he also reads Carte Blanche), but some of the other actors aren't as good. The other set is read by Robert Whitfield. I prefer that set, he has a good voice and voices each character differently and not as over the top as some actors in the newer set. I have also heard a few audio books by David Rintoul.

    Ive got all the recent audiobooks but have not listened to them. I actually find audiobooks hard to listen too for some strange reason.

    To listen with ? :))
    I never thought of them until I got one. Now I think

    I know the latest series of audio books can be picked up very cheaply
    From many book shops. I've seen them at £3.99 each. I also picked up
    A couple used, on EBay ( like Solo) To see if it's more entertaining as
    An audio book.

    I listen to the Skyfall score a lot at the gym.

    I really like it, I do love D Arnold's work but I thought Skyfall
    Was a very imaginative score. -{

    Yes, I know what it's like. You can read loads of opinions but until
    You can read them yourself to form your own opinion. :) you always
    Feel you're missing out on something. :)

    If you can find the first two Gardner novels they are worth a listen. I downloaded them from audible.

    I have Casino Royale and Live and Let Die on audiobooks. LALD is a bit difficult to listen to given some of the racist language, but CR is great.

    Does someone here have a copy the Robert Whitfield/Simon Vance versions? I'd love to listen to them, especially because most of them got deleted on YouTube. Many thanks!
