    As a company shipping extremely delicate and expensive items worldwide we use the best couriers possible to ensure that the products always arrive intact. I am afraid that we have no control over the cost of international shipping, we do not put any mark-up on the shipping beyond the cost of packaging materials, as we are aware that the costs are not inconsiderable. We are charged by by the box and because we are quite a small company cannot negotiate the more competitive courier rates that we enjoy through the likes of Amazon or eBay.
    Because we are charged by the box this means that shipping for one or two glasses is inevitably high, but it is worth noting that it is possible to get a lot of products into one box so it is quite conceivable that we could deliver 20+ items of crystal for the same price!
    All crystal products are double boxed, and heavily insulated in protective polystyrene beads to ensure safe delivery.
    It is always worth calling the factory to see if a better price can be achieved for P&P than through the website, in some cases and for some destinations this works. We would be delighted to talk to you - the number is +44 (0)1229 584400.

    Do you have any retailers in Canada? Toronto area specifically?

    I don't believe so. Happy to take orders through the website and courier them. Please be aware of previous comments about shipping. It's worth calling the factory to discuss small order deliveries. The shipping cost on the website will cover delivery of a significant sized order.

    Was the decanter in CR ever identified? I couldn't find any evidence of it being identified on the forum. Has anyone got any ideas of who the manufacturer could be?
    I'm sorry......that last hand...nearly killed me

    Now if I'm going senile, someone please deal with me. BUT I don't think this has ever been mentioned or spotted in the past. We are all familiar with the Cumbria Crystal Grasmere Double Old Fashioned Tumbler featuring in Casino Royale. I have been looking at Die Another Day and whilst Bond is cleaning his P99 at the beginning of the holographic sequence and the camera pulls back, low and behold on the desk in front of him is exactly the same tumbler. I apologise if everyone now has to watch DAD again to confirm this, to save you the pain just look at the cover of Greg William's Bond on Set, plain as day and two props for the price of one ........ Now does anyone want to have a crack at the decanter in this scene? -{ -{ -{

    When viewing DAD, did you notice the amazing lampposts in the explosive DMZ scenes?

    Can I commission a giant swan bed? An ice palace tall chair? Or how about... a giant "ice" bar with a martini glass and a champagne flute atop it. Amazing stuff!

    With all the money spent on the Bond films, they have to make savings where they can!

    The bed was crap but the chairs were cool. However, they're extremely heavy and VERY expensive.

    Here's a glass for you to goggle at while I bow out of ridiculously crashing Rob's thread.

    Great spot, Gadget Meister! It might be the tumbler in DAD. Only a few seconds, but it's there. On cover Bond on Set book it's more clearly visible, but actually I wonder if it's the same looking at that image. I can't spot the 'diamond' pattern.

    I think in DAD it's the Cumbria Crystal Helvellyn Double Old Fashioned Whisky Tumbler: http://cumbriacrystal.com/shop/barware/helvellyn-double-old-fashioned-whisky-tumbler/

    Well now there's a thing Remmert. Now I've got to watch it AGAIN to see one way or the other :# I was looking at the top rim detail, the mid section is more difficult to see but I will suffer for the cause.

    Frantic examination of stills ...... time passes

    Nope, don't buy it Remmert. Look at the cover of Bond on Set and you'll see the top detail scalloping right at the top of the glass a la Grasmere NOT some way down the glass a la Helvellyn, can't put the pic up as at work and can't access Photobucket

    Scratches head, adjusts spectacles ..... time passes

    Ooops disregard the above, just looked again and you are absolutley right and I completely concur with you Remmert, the Helvellyn it most definitely is ........... REALLY great spot.

    Off to shoot self in head :))

    Well, I'm late to this party. 12 years late!
    But I've just got myself a couple of the Cumbria Crystal Grasmere Tumblers.
    Pleased to say that the Bond Lifestyle 10% Discount Code is still working too.

    I have to say, these are amazing, beautiful and substantial (heavy). In fact, exquisite!
    Can't wait to test one out later... -{

    Has anybody picked up the matching decanter yet? 2 tumblers and a decanter are my goal for 2018...
