Is it the same as Adidas generally ? Because adidas used to sponsor my football team I've got a handle on sizing for gym gear shorts t shirts track pants and jackets.Though expect would want Y3 more fitted .thanks

Without a sizing chart it's really hard to say what size you will need but i do know that other members have mentioned that the jackets do run large!

Oh yes, the sizing on the Y3’s are definitely a little off. My large seems to fit between a regular L and XL and the sleeves on it go down to my knuckles

That’s good for me. Very easy for them to just say no. So the fact they’re even considering is better than nothing!

Well now You have put you comments along the lines this will never happen, this is good news for us as you have been proven wrong each time, hopefully this means this will get the green light soon

Jared_nomak, I never said it will never happen, just clarifying, because some are under the impression that all that needs to happen is for 150 orders to be met. But Adidas has not stated in any official manner what they require. I hope the project does happen, and I will think much more highly of adidas if they do it.
Bond44, yes the jacket did come in a size XS, and the armpit to armpit measurement is 21 inches. Hope that helps -{

Yep. My one is an XS. They run quite large, as people have said - I normally wear a size 38/48 in TF’s O’Connor cut.

I am also 38/40 fortunately I have broad shoulders and a little tinkering with the sleeve buttons got me to a good place, but I was curious if they did a smaller size.

"I know a manager who's working for Y-3. I asked him last year and he said that it will be interesting for them if they produce at least 150 jacket. Under it's useless to contact the main office.'

Personally i don't put much stock in what the store manager said as he is not the one making the decision because I feel that 150 jackets for the project is a pipe dream and 50 to 75 would be a more reasonable goal. I don't think it hurts to at least follow up with his contact to see if they have any further updates.
This is where big companies miss the mark or point. They take a short term view and want pre order of 150 to consider doing it. Where as if they released it as the 10th Anniversay QOS edition I am pretty sure they would fly off the shelves because it would not be just Bond fans buying them. Thus the number they could sell could be much higher (like Barbour did with the Commander now making it part of the regular range same as TF and the Black shawl neck Cardi).
If they do not embrace the Bond connection then it’s a lost revenue opportunity if you ask me.
