Hello from New Member - Skyfall Wedding Outfit

Good Evening,

New member and lifelong Bond fan here, 34, from Merseyside, UK.

Great to see so many like minded people with excellent taste!

I look forward to hopefully being welcomed as part of the forum for years to come.

First port of call, I’m getting married next year and hopefully looking to put together a screen accurate (as much as possible) outfit of the Skyfall Macau Tom Ford Dinner Jacket/Suit etc.

Going to look to arrive to the wedding in style in a classic DB5 hopefully!

If any members wanted to, or know anyone else who wanted to sell their cotton-voile-pique Tom Ford Cocktail/Evening shirt in a size 15.5” collar, I would be more than happy to pay whatever it takes...

I’ve just about got to the age where I can just about afford to attempt to start collecting and wearing Bond clothing and merchandise where possible, hopefully starting with this outfit.

Thank you and look forward to participating in the forum as much as possible!

Welcome to the forum! I too had a 007 themed wedding and wore the midnight blue suit from QOS, but alas no DB5.
    Good luck and congratulations.

Good Evening Meesta Bawnd and James,

Many thanks for your well wishes, it’s greatly appreciated. Hope you’re both having a great week!

I don’t think I’ll get away with a full James Bond themed wedding, but going to get as many elements in as possible, may just have to be subtle about it.

If no members want to sell, do you guys have any idea of any other places to look?

    Many thanks!

    Welcome!

regarding the cufflinks i can already advise you to buy them for a great price from Magnoli clothiers. Look for the Mother of Pearl ones, these are the cufflinks worn in the casino scenes and on the yacht to Hashima island aswell.
    Did you bring any chocolates?

    Thanks Operas Phantom!

Appreciate the advice. Was going to look for the Tom Ford ones but they look extremely pricey!

Are the Magnoli ones close to the originals? Good quality etc?
