Francis De Woolf, playing Vavra- sometimes in Hammer horror movies. He was HUGE!

Music- Barry composed “Leila Dances” for this scene, but Young used the gypsy music

The sarcastic "Nice face!" doesn't quite work, since the actor playing Krilencu isn't particularly ugly.

Kerim Bey is wrong to think his son has duped his enemies into going in the opposite direction to the gypsy camp...
Critics and material I don't need. I haven't changed my act in 53 years.

Fleming complained to Young that the girls weren't naked as in his book. Young said "And how do you expect me to get THAT past the censor?"

Terence Young with a wig doubled for all scenes of Kerim where you don't see Armendariz's face, owing to the actor's poor health.

Music- “007” And here it is, for the first but not the last time in the series. There’s a bit more to it on the OST, the film version is looped. Cover versions abound

Music- “Gypsy Camp” with Vic Flick improvising on guitar

Apparently Connery was asked to decide between the final three girls auditioning for the part of Tatiana... perhaps reflected by the fact that Bond has to decide between these two fighting girls at the end of the fight...

Bond's casually witty interventions in the fight... it's the same style of his contributions to the underwater battle in TB (also directed by Terence Young).

Not clear which he might have chosen to settle the dispute
Aliza Gur is more to the fore for the farewell to Bond... so possibly her.

This is true, although not on first release. I caught it on double bills later in the 60s.
