And now, Carey Lowell...another beautiful but talent free 'actress'. She was pretty decent in some other work though. FIERCE CREATURES comes to mind.

She's good in this, too, imho... I'd rate her as at least as convincing as most of Bond's leading ladies, though definitely not among the best.

It's a shame she gets so little to do.

Del Torro is the only good henchman, but he's a VERY good henchman.

Don Stroud as Heller. Loved him in "The Buddy Holly Story"

That entire Wayne Newton sideline story is totally unnecessary!

I like Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa in this. He always struck me as someone who would have been excellent at playing an updated version of Tiger Tanaka.

Yes, he's very good in this. Another example of how Dalton's serious approach enables different kinds of excellent dramatic performance by actors playing secondary characters.

Soto dealing to Bond may be a very minor reference to Fleming's DAF, where Tiffany is the dealer to Bond.

    Dalton's Dracula hair.

He lends soem Comic relief and it's a clever way to explain how Sanchez' operation works.

Dalton says the line. Very subtly and low key.

The old casino employee who reports "the British sucker" dropping serious money at the table is a bit like a DAF type casino character too.

In fact, probably the quietest delivery ever in any Bond film.

"You've got to have a talent that people here don't have." I love Perez's response to Bond's put-down, even though he has no lines.
